In 2019, RBC Future Launch and Riipen launched a partnership with the goal of increasing access to high-impact work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities for Canadian post-secondary students Our shared mission: to help prepare learners, particularly those from underserved communities, for the Future of Work. By the end of 2022, the RBC-Riipen partnership has delivered over 27,000 online WIL experiences, to a wide diversity of learners and educational partners across Canada with the potential of delivering over 250,000 by 2026.

Defining Strategic Compensation Management Policies Fall 25

Join forces with third-year Durham College Human Resources - Business Administration (Compensation Management) students as they delve into the intricacies of compensation management. Eager to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, these learners are poised to tackle challenges head-on, guided by a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes strategic alignment and practical implementation.

TRU Level UP: Summer 2025
Skilled, motivated students from Thompson Rivers University ready to support your business. Level UP connects you with post-secondary students from across Canada who are eager to apply what they’re learning in the classroom to real-world challenges. These students are motivated, curious, and looking to grow. They bring fresh perspectives and emerging skills to your project. Students work on 60-hour, short-term projects and are paid a $1,400 stipend directly by Riipen, thanks in part to the Government of Canada’s Innovative Work-Integrated Learning (I-WIL) Initiatives program. This means there’s no cost to you. Level UP makes it easy to tackle meaningful tasks, test ideas, or explore new opportunities with the support of engaged, early-career talent—while helping the next generation of professionals grow. Project timeline: Request to match your project: May 12 - June 6, 2025 Program administrators will review all requests and let you know if changes are needed to set the project up for success. RRC Game Development: Summer 2025
Skilled, motivated students from Red River College's Game Development program are ready to support your project. Students in the Game Development program are trained to tackle both creative and technical challenges in collaborative, team-based environments. With a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, students build real games as part of their training, developing a portfolio that reflects their capabilities in design, development, and production. Supported by experienced faculty, they’re prepared to contribute to meaningful, industry-relevant projects. Participating employers gain access to curious, capable, and career-ready students who are eager to apply their skills to meaningful challenges. Projects are divided into three distinct phases, each requiring 60 hours of student work. Upon completing each phase, students are paid a $1,400 stipend—fully covered through Riipen and the Government of Canada’s Innovative Work-Integrated Learning (I-WIL) Initiatives program. There is no cost to you. This is an exclusive, invite-only opportunity. If you were not invited to participate, your project match request will be declined. The ACE Project Space is a collaborative, interactive workspace where students, entrepreneurs, non-profits, and corporations come together to turn bold ideas into real-world solutions. With guidance from experienced staff and faculty, students from the Business Information Technology, Data Science and Machine Learning, and Information Security programs work directly with industry partners to build prototypes, develop products, and design services ready for market. Computer Systems Technology - Capstone Project

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Saskatchewan Polytechnic to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program/course study and employ practical and theoretical concepts obtained in first year systems analysis and design courses by building an IT system. They will work as part of a development team on an IT problem for an external industry client. Their project will include the production and demonstration of functioning components of the system each release within deadlines set out in their project management documentation
Electrical and Computer Engineering Capstone in Engineering Science

Bring on learners from the Engineering Science Electrical and Computer Engineering capstone course at the University of Toronto to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based design experience. Learners will work on one design design cycle of a project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.
Leadership and Management in Action

This experience is designed for learners in a management skills course, focusing on the practical application of leadership, decision making, negotiation, goal setting, and team building. Participants will have the opportunity to apply these skills in real-world scenarios, enhancing their ability to lead teams, make informed decisions, and negotiate effectively. By engaging in projects that require strategic planning and collaboration, learners will bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing them for future leadership roles.
Data Science and Analytics (University of Calgary)
My learners are equipped to tackle projects in machine learning and statistical learning, having gained proficiency in Python and R. They have engaged with several hands-on courses covering machine learning, statistical data analysis, SQL and database management, Tableau dashboard creation, data engineering, and big data. I am seeking internship projects that will help them apply their skills as part of their data science master’s program. Please note that learners will register for their internship between May and August 2025. If you wish to start working with them during this period, it would be ideal.
