Narendra built the Pytest automation framework from the ground up with professionalism and dedication, aligning his work to a modified project scope following a serious internal security breach that occurred shortly before the internship began. As a result of the breach, the startup’s core infrastructure — including backend code, application logic, and our proprietary insights engine — was placed under strict quarantine on another platform separate from the testing environment. This meant that no testing or interaction with core components was permitted during the internship for security reasons. However, Narendra’s work was necessarily limited to building an automation foundation for a future black-box testing phase, once the environment could be secured. Within these constraints, Narendra remained focused, reliable, and respectful of boundaries. He contributed meaningfully and never misrepresented the scope of his role. His integrity, technical focus, and honesty stood out throughout the internship, and I’m grateful for the hard work and clarity he brought to a very challenging environment. He was one of two interns — and the only one with the Python skills necessary to build the automation framework — and he stepped up with remarkable maturity and professionalism. Despite the limited access and lack of a technical team, we were able to work together and make meaningful progress. Unfortunately, we did not get the chance to fully implement the framework or use it to validate the system. That said, Narendra’s work has set us up very well for a future secure testing phase, and I’m confident we’ll be applying his contributions in future iterations. I sincerely thank him for both his technical contribution and his conduct — he demonstrated true professionalism in a very difficult context.
