Organization Description: Histria Books is an independent publishing house. We publish a wide range of books across our 12 imprints. Project Overview: This project focuses on optimizing and making some structural adjustments to our Wordpress website HistriaBooks.com. We would like to add a merch store to the site by linking to our Printful store to the site. Restructuring the pages to reflect our current imprints and revitalizing our home page to better showcase our products, Project Duration: 6 Weeks Project Hours: 150 Project Hours Per Learner: 30

Website Build & Implementation for Histria Books
Histria Books is an independent publisher with global reach. They produce trade books, children’s books, fiction, and academic titles across multiple imprints. After recent acquisitions, Histria is updating its WordPress e-commerce site to reflect its growing catalog and operations. This team will bring the updated website vision to life by implementing structural changes and building out new pages based on the wireframes and SEO strategy provided by the planning team. A liaison will bridge communication between both teams to ensure consistency and accurate execution.

Social Media & BookTok Marketing
The goal of this project is to enhance Histria Books’ online visibility and reader engagement by leveraging innovative social media strategies and influencer outreach. Through targeted campaigns and BookTok partnerships, we aim to increase awareness and sales of selected titles across digital platforms.

Market Research
Our company advertises thousands of products online. We want to better understand our target market and the overall market, so we can uniquely position ourselves within our industry. We would like to collaborate with students to conduct market research. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s values, products and services. Researching our target market and market potential. Researching the industry and competitive landscape. Recommending strategies to improve our positioning, brand, products and services. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending strategies to differentiate ourselves from our competition.
