Hassan was fantastic to work with. Great attitude, made time to connect and discuss the project, managed his time well, followed instructions and received constructive pointers, and also operated with great autonomy. We recently went through a full rebrand, so all of our videos became stale. So he saved me at least 60 hours rebuilding our database of short form videos.

Hassan did a great job with our digital marketing video creation. Due to lack of time due to his ongoing university assignments, it became hard for him to deliver tasks on time.

Learner feedback
Hassan did a great job with our digital marketing video creation. We really loved the video quality and precision. Due to lack of time due to his ongoing assignments, it became hard for him to deliver tasks on time which was the only drawback.

Lead Generation Project (Phase 1)

Roamlii is a digital command centre, supporting the end-to-end digital needs of small to medium sized Canadian tourism businesses...from  Discovery & Promotion , to  Lead & Inquiry Management , (and soon) to  Booking & Scheduling . As we evolve our own technology, and leverage strategic integrations, our focus is the holistic support and growth of the Canadian tourism industry. We're the first and only software company to create a powerful operational command centre for tourism businesses, and we aim to become the most useful platform for local and micro-tourism. Existing platforms primarily showcase popular experiences, leaving much of the industry unsupported. Roamlii stands apart by championing and promoting smaller businesses, aiming for inclusivity across the diverse tourism landscape. In a world dominated by financially-driven algorithms and ads, travellers often miss out on lesser-known, but exceptional, experiences. Roamlii seeks to rectify this imbalance by offering a fairer representation, ensuring a broader discovery of brilliant destinations. Roamliiโ€™s mission is to revolutionize the current landscape of tourism platforms, advocating for fairness and a more comprehensive view of available travel experiences, while providing a full suite of promotional and lead management tools for its business partners, and a suite of discovery tools for its travellers. With this project, we're looking to revamp our social media strategy, including our content pillars. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our companyโ€™s target market, brand guidelines, and products and services Research opportunities for enhanced Social Media strategies Define an enhanced approach to our content pillars Implement new content pillars and social media strategy Develop a systematic process to continuously review and update our social media deployments, so they require as little time as possible to maintain Bonus steps in the process would also include: Build a catalogue of opportunities to review further down the road

Local LLM Platform - Hardware/Software

Project Goal Build a working prototype of our local, privacy-first AI system that includes both software and hardware components โ€” enabling document processing (e.g., summarization or classification) using AI models running entirely offline on edge devices like a NUC, Raspberry Pi, or Jetson. Main Objective / Tasks & Activities Learners will collaborate to integrate AI software with real hardware environments to demonstrate a complete, working edge-AI system. Software Tasks: Set up a lightweight local backend (e.g., FastAPI) to run AI workflows Integrate with quantized open-source language models (e.g., via llama.cpp) Develop a simple UI or CLI to upload documents and display AI outputs Ensure compatibility with low-power, local hardware environments Hardware Tasks: Set up and configure edge devices (e.g., Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi, NUC) Test local model performance on different hardware setups Optimize system resource usage (RAM, CPU/GPU) Assist with packaging the software for reliable offline use Deliverables: A working MVP that runs a full AI document processing workflow offline on local hardware Source code and system setup documentation Performance benchmarks (inference speed, memory usage) for each hardware type A short demo video of the full system in action
