Web Application Development for Event Management (2)

The main goal for the project is to assist Quadratic Sound in the development of a web application for event management. The application will cater to various types of users including Event Coordinators, Event Promoters, Artists, Attendees, and Event Staff. The application is written in Svelte, using Tailwind and Skeleton for the front end styling, and Pocketbase for the data/auth layer.

Event Management Assistant (1)

Quadratic Sound hosts multiple community events every week and is on target to host 150+ events in 2024. Organising just one a event requires a lot of moving parts; from reviewing and responding to requests, gathering event materials and promoting, ensuring staff have necessary details, and finally producing reports on the events performance. The goal of this project is for the student is to understand the full event management lifecycle, and to assist in one or more specific areas of the pipeline.

Social Media Event Ambassador (2)

Our aim is to streamline events, craft attractive posters, formulate engaging social media content, and deeply connect with Victoria BC's music community. We are driven by Quadratic Sound's vision to offer easy-access services and resources to the passionate musicians in our locale.

Music Studio Setup

The primary goal of this project is to facilitate the establishment of a new recording space in Victoria, BC, by employing a university student with a strong background in audio engineering. This initiative will encompass the comprehensive setup of the studio, including the installation of advanced recording equipment and audio routing systems. The student will also be responsible for conducting a thorough inventory of all studio equipment, cables, and accessories, ensuring that the facility is fully equipped and organized for optimal recording efficiency. This project aims not only to enhance the recording capabilities of the space but also to provide valuable hands-on experience to the student, contributing to their educational and professional development in the field of audio technology.
