What you’ll do (Projects):

There is an opportunity to gain experience while providing basic-to-advanced level support to users of computer systems and related equipment, while t types. Some of those projects include strategic web design, CRM security modelling, data scraping, data migration, software development and a range of digital transformation projects. As part of the IT team and reporting to a senior member of the time, you will need to:

Deliver: Support a multitude of computing environments and IT infrastructure systems including networking, servers, data backup, disaster recovery, servers to support operations. Facilitate research of hardware, software and computing services and ensure information technology risks are mitigated.

Manage: Provide technical support and services and assist in project assignment and resource allocation.

Innovate and automate: Work with fellow Maykers to identify how to best meet their diverse IT needs, which may include surveying; and provide consultative expertise in hardware and software specification and licensing, etc.

Embrace change and innovation: Support the design and implementation of IT and corporate applications.

Partner: Collaborate with team members across the organization while solving IT issues, optimizing local and remote issues.

Qualifications:

Given your background and work experience you are brave and willing to delve into innovating for internal and client-side requirements. You have the ability and desire to thrive and excel in a fast paced, rapid growth environment.

- You are working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Information Systems, BA in Information Technology Management, etc.

- You have some experience supporting network systems and troubleshooting experience with Windows, Unix/Linus, Apple computer platforms.

- You possess good knowledge of different software systems along with working knowledge of computer hardware including desktop and network servers, information security and awareness of capabilities or limitations of various configurations.

- You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- You have some knowledge of or a desire to learn Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Platform, Windows Server, Linux, Scripting and support software for Windows, workstation administration and IT security.
