What you'll do:

You will update and improve upon a number of Power BI Dashboards that are intended to support the building of better reports and analytics. Using several sources of data, you will either transform, amalgamate or build the data into reports and visuals for easier use and understanding by users.

Qualifications:

Knowledge or Ability to learn Microsoft Power BI

Basic or Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Excel features such as

• Data Connections/Data Sources
•  Pivot Tables
• Formulas
• Multi Table References
• Data Validation

Knowledge or Ability to learn Microsoft SharePoint Lists

Knowledge or Ability to learn Microsoft Power Automate and/or Microsoft Power Query

Project Goal(s):

Creation of a series of reports that can be automatically updated and will provide as much information to each team that needs it; and will be in one location to reduce work exporting and building reports by hand. Provide users with the ability to select a few dropdowns or filters on a report to get their needed data.

Project Specifics:

You will build out and/or update required dashboards to display data with capabilities for further analysis. Sources include (but are not limited to):

• Microsoft SharePoint Lists that relate to projects and tasks
• Dynamics 365 Sales Professional and Marketing for Leads and Contacts.
• Data residing in Exports from applications to Excel files.

There are a number of templates and reports already created with this data for example and for improvement.

Data for most projects will be provided as Excel data sources that can later be updated on our end for inclusion in he final use case.

Primary contacts at company: 

IT Specialist and Innovation/IT Leader, other business participants depending upon project. The Learner will be supported through meaningful mentorship and staff time to enhance their learning experience. The Learner will be offered access to required tools and technology, as well as access to data and any other resources that may be required to complete the project.
