Positions available: 1 Team of 3-4 students or 1 individual student

Our portfolio of brands includes professional and financial services, sports, automotive, technology and other B2B brands.

Our team seeks interns to join our Talent team. If you want to apply your “passion for “da” people” this might be right for you! Tools we often use include google, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, other various Talent applications. It is not a requirement that you have experience with these tools, but we hope that you are excited about learning and applying them as you work through the internship.

Projects/Deliverables:

Our Talent team is diverse coming from varying backgrounds, experiences and skill sets. We are true hybrids – idea mavericks - who specialize in reward and recognition, wellness, communication and talent acquisition programs.

You will work with a mentor on the Talent team to identify a project (or set of smaller projects), that will have a real impact on our people initiatives or even our practices – you’ll help empower the people so to speak. Some possible areas of application may be in reward and recognition campaigns, wellness and community programs, colleague events or training, strategy and communications, performance management systems, recruiting, onboarding, digital HR systems. Committing to our people through innovative programming will definitely make an impact on the future of our work-life experience. Some big deal projects may include:

  • The creation of new tools and resources for Maykers that focus on well-being, community, recognition and appreciation.
  • Revised job descriptions and career ladders/pathways for each job classification
  • Improved HR forms to ensure compliance and better utilization
  • An improved onboarding process
  • Contribution to the execution of strategic priorities laid out in the agile Talent roadmap.
  • Successful partnering across the team to execute key programs and initiatives.

Your Super Skills:

  • Working towards a degree in business or people related role. Arts and humanities students should demonstrate their interest in improving talent operational efficiencies.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, problem solver, detailed, a team player, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, flexibility, adaptability and initiative.
  • Innovative mindset and a visible commitment to people practices that are premised on the values and mission of the firm.

We are seeking enthusiastic learners who have the capability to work well both independently and on a team. All communications will occur in English.

Resources provided: Our team will provide access to all relevant data and systems that candidate requires to complete their project(s). There will also be dialogue/ongoing engagement with subject matter experts.

Communication tools/methods: Email, Microsoft Teams, Development and Remote Access, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and PPT. Mandatory daily meetings.
