A learner or learners focused on Cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting data, developing secure strategies and maximizing productivity. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing security principles while following strict privacy policies. Analysts have advanced skills when it comes to finding security threats and other vulnerabilities and will additionally aide in the risk assessment process of the corporate environment and frequently monitor logs and security traffic. The learner(s) will reporting to technology management and work with others in technology.

What you’ll do (Projects):

· Plan, Architect and design: Identify and define test goals and intelligence to be gathered, including testing method (external (company website, email, domain name servers)), internal, blind, double-blind or targeted. Provide recommended penetration testing options for IT Infrastructure (web, network, etc.).

· Analyze and Monitor: Monitor and scan various intrusion attempts inspecting and understanding the IT infrastructure vulnerabilities related to security events and threats and investigate security breaches and analyze data from cybersecurity incidents.

· Communicate and collaborate: Operate as a liaison between technical personnel and the business-users, conducting research and working with security team to perform tests and uncover IT infrastructure vulnerability.

· Access and prepare: Recommend advanced network security protection based on findings.

· Documentation. Document security breaches and assess the damage the cause. Research and recommend best practices for IT security. Create supporting documentation and knowledge transfer applications.

Qualifications:

- Pursuing a degree in computer science or related field

- Understanding of security standards and frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST

- Strong problem solving and thinking skills

- Experience in information security or related field

- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.

- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.

- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them

- Must be able to work both independently and in team environments

- High degree of maturity and excellent communication skills
