Automated Grant Data Refresh Pipeline
FindGrant is seeking to streamline the process of updating its grant data repository by developing an automated data refresh pipeline. The current dataset, stored in JSON format, requires regular updates to ensure accuracy and relevance. The goal of this project is to create a system that utilizes web automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright to periodically extract and refresh grant data from specified online sources. This project will enable FindGrant to maintain an up-to-date database without manual intervention, thereby improving efficiency and data reliability. The project will involve designing a robust pipeline that can handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes seamlessly. Key tasks include setting up web scraping scripts, handling data parsing and validation, and ensuring the pipeline's scalability and maintainability.
