Details

The project aims to develop a web-based meeting room reservation system to streamline scheduling and improve coordination among three organizations sharing office space. Currently, scheduling conflicts and inefficient room management hinder productivity and collaboration. By creating a centralized platform, employees will be able to check room availability, book meeting rooms, and receive automated email notifications for confirmed reservations. This system will enhance efficiency by reducing scheduling conflicts and ensuring seamless room management. Additionally, the platform will include admin controls for managing reservations, user roles, and access permissions, providing a secure and organized booking process across all organizations. The project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of web development, database management, and user interface design.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a fully functional web-based meeting room reservation system with the following features:

- A user-friendly interface for checking room availability and booking.

- Automated email notifications for confirmed reservations.

- Admin controls for managing reservations, user roles, and access permissions.

- Comprehensive documentation detailing system functionality and user guidelines.

These deliverables will ensure a streamlined and secure booking process for all users.
