The main goal for the project is to research and apply to a list of no more than 10 Municipal, Provincial, and Federal grants that can support business development with a specific focus on software innovation and development. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:


- Researching the eligibility criteria and application process for each grant.


- Identifying the specific requirements and documentation needed for each grant application, as well as our alignment to those programs.


- Developing a comprehensive list of no more than 10 grants that align with the company's focus on software innovation and development.


- Creating a timeline and action plan for completing and submitting the grant applications.


Deliverables

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?


By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:


- Research and compile a list of no more than 10 Municipal, Provincial, and Federal grants that align with the company's focus on software innovation and development.


- Develop a detailed summary of the eligibility criteria, application process, and specific requirements for each grant.


- Create a comprehensive action plan and timeline for completing and submitting the grant applications.



Final deliverables:


- A final report including a detailed list of no more than 10 grants that we are eligible for, their eligibility criteria, application process, and specific requirements.


- Completed grant applications for the selected grants, including all necessary documentation and materials.


Mentorship

Unfettered and on-demand access to the director will be available to assure questions and support are provided as quickly as possible to facilitate the project. Phone, email, and Slack are main tools.


Shared online documentation and resources will be provided as needed to support the project.
